Fatal accident in Crawford County kills man from Pittsburg

There was a fatal car crash around 11:45 Saturday night south of 540th Avenue on 260th Street in Crawford County, Kansas.

The Sheriff’s office says it happened when a vehicle driven by 43-year-old Marco Antonio Ibarra-Creceres of Pittsburg went off the roadway, hit a culvert, and overturned.

Ibarra-Cereceres was ejected from the vehicle.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation into that crash continues.
