Carthage Council tables censure question for Councilwoman until next meeting

In Carthage Tuesday night, over 100 people attended a City Council, many to support Ward-5 Councilwoman Tiffany Cossey who faced a possible vote of censure.

Cossey had been accused of creating a hostile work environment.

After a closed session, council members emerged to publicly vote to allow Cossey to have legal representation at a future closed session.

Council members then voted unanimously to table the censure question until the next Carthage City Council meeting.
