Cold case homicide anniversary: Sunday 37th anniversary of murder of Mary Ann Kee

Sunday, January 14 marks the 37th anniversary of the Mary Ann Kee homicide in Pittsburg.

On January 14, 1987, in the early morning hours, the Pittsburg Police Department responded to Kee’s residence, located at the northwest corner of 14th Street and Rouse Street.

Kee was found deceased inside of her residence, and the manner of her death was later ruled to be a homicide.

The Pittsburg Police Department has investigated numerous leads and expended hundreds of hours into the case, regularly reviewing and following up on possible leads and tips. The Kansas Bureau of Investigation is assisting with the cold case investigation, however; at this time this homicide remains unsolved.

The Pittsburg Police Department is once again asking for your help in solving this case.
