Gov. Parson signs executive order for upcoming winter weather

Governor Mike Parson has signed an executive order to prepare for winter weather, especially the extreme cold temperatures that will hit the Show-Me State beginning this weekend.

The order waives certain hours of service requirements for commercial vehicles transporting residential heating fuel, including propane, natural gas, and heating oil.

It also activates the Missouri National Guard for state and local response efforts, if they are needed.

Drivers should check the local weather conditions in your area before hitting the road.
