Greene County jail inmate dies at Springfield hospital

An inmate at the Greene County Jail has died.
The Greene County Sheriff’s office reports that 32 year old inmate Austin Bond had a seizure and fell from his bunk onto the floor.
His cellmate notified officers and immediate medical attention was given.
Bond suffered a severe injury to his head from the fall.
He died Monday at a Springfield hospital.
An autopsy is scheduled.
The investigation continues.
