Joplin firefighters aim to fund safe haven baby box

The Joplin Professional Firefighters L59 needs your help!
They are looking for assistance in funding a $15,000 safe haven baby box.
A safe haven baby box is safety device that legally permits a mom in crisis to anonymously surrender her newborn baby if they are unable to care for the infant in a safe and secure location.
The box is designed to call three alerting 911, social services and a local hospital.
