Former Willard mayor pleads guilty to embezzling from trucking company

The former mayor of Willard, Missouri, has plead guilty to embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars from a local trucking company.

Between 2016 and 2021, Corey Hendrickson allegedly stole more than $300,000 by using 500 drivers’ personal info to take money from their corporate expense accounts.

Hendrickson worked as a fleet dispatcher for Prime Incorporated at the time.

The Willard City Clerk confirmed Hendrickson resigned from the board of alderman on Tuesday.
