Morning accident causes minor injuries in Newton County

Her car traveled off the road and overturned just after nine this morning (Tuesday).

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 41-year-old Sherrie N. Watson of Indian Land, South Carolina was driving east on Jute Road about a mile north of Racine in Newton County at 9:01 a.m. when the accident happened.

She was taken to Freeman West in Joplin but Watson only had minor injuries.

She was wearing a safety device at the time of the accident.
