Memorial ceremonies this weekend to honor Missouri’s fallen firefighters

Services will be held this weekend in honor of those who have served as firefighters. 

Two memorial services are organized for this weekend to honor Missouri’s fallen firefighters. 

A candlelight vigil will be held Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Firefighters Memorial of Missouri in Kingdom City. 

On Sunday at 10:30 a.m., a memorial service will take place to add the names of eight fallen Missouri firefighters to a monument wall to honor firefighters who have made the ultimate sacrifice. 

Six of the firefighters died last year and two died in 2021.
