Man from Noel injured in motorcycle accident

A man from Noel was injured in a motorcycle crash.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says it happened around 6:45 Wednesday evening on Missouri 90 at Kibler Lane about a mile east of Noel.

The Patrol says a 2005 Suzuki motorcycle driven by 28-year-old Melton C. Cameron traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch, went airborne and landed on the other side of the ditch.

He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Cameron suffered serious injuries.

He was Med-Flighted to a Springfield hospital.
