Arkansas unemployment rate up

The unemployment rate in Arkansas increased according to the U.S. Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics.  

The state’s unemployment rate jumped one tenth of a percentage point from 2.6% to 2.7% in August.  

This is the first time since October 2022 that the unemployment rate has increased.
