Missouri’s auto workers could go on strike beginning this week

Automakers have until one minute before Friday to reach a new agreement with the Union of Auto Workers could go on strike .

If a deal is not agreed to, nearly 150-thousand workers will go on strike, including a total of more than eleven-thousand workers at the Kansas City Assembly Plant in Claycomo and the GM plant in Wentzville.

Requests from the Union include a more than 40-percent pay raise, a four-day work week at full-time pay, and a return to traditional pensions.
