Man from Jasper injured in Saturday night cycle accident

A motorcycle accident at Route NN at Reddings Mill south of Joplin resulted in injuries to a man from Jasper just before 11 Saturday night.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when a southbound 2005 Triumph motorcycle being operated by 47-year-old Rusty D. Davis of Jasper ran off the road and overturned.

Davis, who was wearing a helmet, was transported to a Joplin hospital with serious injuries.
