Granby man killed, four seriously injured in overnight crash

A man from Granby was killed and four others suffered serious injuries, including two juveniles, after a one-vehicle crash early Thursday.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened just a few miles west of Pierce City, when the car that 21-year-old Trenton R. Wilson was driving lost control after going over a set of railroad tracks.

The car then went off the road, down an embankment and overturned.

Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene.

Four passengers in the vehicle, including a 12-year-old girl, suffered serious injuries.

The highway patrol report says none of the occupants were wearing their seatbelts.
