Gov. Parson releases schedule for July 24-28

(JEFFERSON CITY, MO) – In the next few days, Governor Mike Parson will attend several meetings and events and hold a ceremonial bill signing.
On Thursday, July 27, Governor Parson will travel to Springfield to discuss Missouri’s economic achievements and provide his vision for the future of the state with his Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce State of the State Address.
Governor Parson will also hold a ceremonial bill signing for SB 24 in Springfield.
SB 24 is a bill that would establish the “Missouri First Responder Mental Health Initiative Act” ensuring the rights of first responders to access mental and behavioral health care services and responsive treatment with certain treatment records deemed confidential.
On Friday, July 28, Governor Parson will attend the Hawthorn Foundation’s board meeting in St. Joseph.
