LaTurner blasts DOJ for two-tiered system of justice during Hunter Biden hearing

Washington, DC – Today, Congressman Jake LaTurner (R-KS) questioned two IRS whistleblowers on their investigation into Hunter Biden and the Department of Justice’s effort to protect the Biden family from facing justice.

Rep. LaTurner issued these remarks during the House Oversight and Accountability committee hearing: “Hearing with IRS Whistleblowers About the Biden Criminal Investigation”

Congressman LaTurner highlighted the blatant misconduct within the Department of Justice. He reiterated the whistleblower’s bombshell testimony confirming the same Biden family corruption that the Oversight Committee has been investigating for the past several months.

Below are LaTurner’s remarks as prepared for delivery:

Two credible, non-partisan IRS investigators confirmed the same corruption this committee has been investigating for the past several months—that the Biden family used shell companies to funnel millions of dollars in payments from foreign companies.

Are we supposed to believe that Hunter Biden, who most of us wouldn’t hire to dog sit, was paid millions of dollars by foreign companies for his “business” expertise? Or was it to influence foreign policy because Hunter Biden’s dad was Vice President of the US?

It doesn’t take a degree in international affairs to understand how the Biden family’s influence peddling scheme comprises Joe Biden and puts our national security at risk.

The whistleblowers also stated that they recommended felony charges against Hunter Biden and wanted to pursue additional investigative steps that could have led to President Biden but were stonewalled by individuals at the Department of Justice.

This obvious corruption is shameful. Mark my words, the House Oversight Committee will not be bullied by the DOJ or anyone else Biden administration. We will work tirelessly to uncover the truth and ensure President Biden and his family are held accountable.
