Cherokee Nation to open applications for Children's Clothing Assistance program

The Cherokee Nation plans to open applications for their income-based Children's Clothing Assistance Program for Cherokee children in the US on July 17 through August 11.

The tribe will provide a one-time payment of $150 through the program to income-eligible Cherokee children.

Qualifications for this program are that you must be a Cherokee citizen as of July 17 of this year and must be under the age of 19 by the same date.

Household income must not exceed 150% of the federal poverty income guidelines for household size.

The Cherokee Nation is accepting applications through the Gadugi Portal.
