Several new Missouri laws are scheduled to begin in August.
A public safety package that has received the governor’s seal of approval will make it tougher to cheat on drug tests by banning the sale and distribution of drug masking items, such as synthetic urine.
Another bill set to become law will require Missouri to create language development standards for children who are deaf or hard of hearing.
A third bill will criminalize people if they interfere with the shipping of livestock.
