State suspends license of Callaway County Sheriff

The State of Missouri's Department of Public Safety has reportedly suspended the license of Callaway County Sheriff Clay Chism.
That comes after Chism was arrested in Moberly, Missouri last October on charges of D.W.I. and resisting arrest.
Station KOMU reports that Chism was accused of coming to work under the influence following that arrest.
Chism has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
His trial is slated for August 10th.
