Seneca teen killed in one-vehicle accident

An 18-year-old from Seneca, Missouri, was killed in a one-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened when the Nissan Altima that a 17-year-old was driving crossed the center line of Old 60 Drive, overcorrected, went off the road, and hit a tree.

Steven N. Keith was a passenger in that car and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 17-year-old driver and another 18-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries.
