A woman from Miami, Oklahoma was injured in an accident at the intersection of Highway 66 and Pennsylvania Street in Joplin around 2 p.m. Monday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened when a vehicle driven by a 16-year-old male juvenile from Goodman attempted a left turn and failed to yield to a car driven by 31-year-old Catherine A. Nixon-Wright of Miami.
