In Springfield, an effort is on to end youth homelessness.
Station KY3 reports that the Springfield City Council is set to consider a bill tonight [Monday] that will let the city apply for funding for that purpose.
The bill, if approved, would let the city apply for at least $600,000 to target homelessness among 13 to 24-year-olds in and around Springfield.
The funds would come from the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development.
