Woman from LaRussell suffers serious injuries in motor scooter accident

A woman from LaRussell suffered serious injuries Friday night when the 2022 Solan Motor Scooter she was riding struck a concrete bridge, went airborne and then hit an embankment.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred at 11:45 p.m. on County Road 1040 two miles north of Stotts City in Lawrence County.

The Patrol says 54-year-old Jeannie M. Moloian of LaRussell suffered serious injuries.

She was transferred by air to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
