Art exhibit at the Neosho Chamber of Commerce

“Flora and Fauna” works by Al Gritten is currently on exhibit at the Neosho Arts Council’s Big Spring Gallery. A closing reception is set for April 28 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm and is open to the public.
“My primary influences have been Frederick Remington’s watercolors, especially his night scenes, Georgia O’Keeffe, and Vincent Van Gogh,” Gritten said. These influences are reflected in his current exhibition from bold florals to desert landscapes.
“I enjoy the intricacy and detail of painting flowers and birds and have always considered myself a landscape artist,” Gritten added.
Gritten works in a variety of mediums from pastels to watercolors to oils. Each of these mediums are represented in his current exhibition.
“Flora and Fauna” is open Monday – Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm at 216 West Spring Street inside the Neosho Area Chamber of Commerce. You can also view it online at neoshoarts.net
