Man in Ft. Scott in custody after gun fired at apartment complex

Ft. Scott Middle School was placed into lockdown status Monday after police officers from that city and the Bourbon County Sheriff’s office responded to a 911 call about a gun fired at an apartment complex in close proximity to the school.

22 year old Brody Johnson was taken into custody.

He was transported to the Bourbon County Jail where he was booked on charges of Aggravated Assault and Criminal Discharge of a Weapon.

There were no reported injuries as a result of the incident.
