Water back on in Pineville following leak repair

The City of Pineville experienced a water leak last Thursday night and Friday morning resulting from recent flooding in that area.

The good news, according to City officials, is that the leak has been located and fixed.

That means the water is back on in Pineville. .

Even so, the city remains under a boil order until water is tested and given the all-clear from the Department of Natural Resources (DNR).

A city official says Pineville expects to hear from the DNR late this week.
