Two injured in accident near Verona

Two people from Verona injured in an accident on Farm Road 11-35, about 5 miles south of that Barry County community.
It happened just before 9 Monday night.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened when a pickup driven by 43-year-old Sandra L. Bernicke of Verona travelled off the right side of the roadway and hit two trees.
Bernicke and a passenger, 47-year-old Tommy W. Summers of Verona, received moderate injuries.
They were transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
