Joplin West 20th Street construction approved

Another street project is in the works.
At Monday night’s Joplin City Council meeting, an agreement was made with Jasper County to widen West 20th Street from Schifferdecker and go to near the Kansas state line.
Jasper County is adding four million dollars to the project for the extra widening.
No word as to when the construction will begin.
