Nonprofit Admits False Statements About Foster Youth Care

A Missouri nonprofit has admitted to making false statements.

Great Circle of Webster Groves, Missouri has admitted to making false statements in claims for services not provided to foster youth and agreed to a service of compliance measures.

In a separate civil settlement, they agreed to pay nearly $2 million, of which $933-thousand is restitution that was doubled under the False Claims Act.

A non-prosecution agreement was entered into due to their services to children with special needs and a conviction could jeopardize that.
