The Pittsburg Community Theatre announces its 42nd season

Pittsburg Community Theater is busily preparing for its 42nd season.

PCT will present 4 shows this season and season tickets are currently on sale.

The theater will also host the summer theater workshop “Junior Starz,” this summer for kids.

Plays  to be included in the season are as follows: 

THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG will be directed by Tony Sanchez and will have performance dates of March 24, at 7:30 p.m. , March 25th at 2 p.m. & 7:30 p.m. and March 26th at 2 p.m..  

The JR STARZ  children’s summer workshop will be June 5-16 with performances at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on June 16th.  This program is directed by Megan Gabehart.  

DISNEY’S DESCENDANTS will be the summer musical.  It will be directed by Breanna Clark and choreographed by Elizabeth Hayes.   Audition dates are May 22, 23rd.  Performance dates will be July 21 at 7:30 p.m. and July 22 at 2 p.m. & 7:30 p.m. and July 23rd at 2:00 p.m.

FORBIDDEN BROADWAY is a musical that will be directed by John Mazurek.  Audition dates are August 21 & 22nd.  Performance dates will be October 20th at 7:30 pm.  Oct 21 at 2 p.m. & 7:30 p.m. and Oct 22 at 2 p.m.

A CHRISTMAS STORY THE MUSICAL will be directed by Tony Sanchez and Musical direction by Michael Doue, Choreographed by Olivia Grosdidier.  Audition dates will be Oct 23, & 24th.  Performance dates will be Dec 8, at 7:30 p.m.,  Dec 9th at 2:00 p.m. &  7:30 p.m. and Dec 10th at 2 p.m.  

Season Tickets are on sale now, AND includes all 4 shows.  $70 for adults and $60 for senior citizens and students.
