Retail chain Tuesday Morning to close four locations in Missouri

Beloved discount home goods store Tuesday Morning is closing more than half of its locations nation wide. This comes as the nearly 50 year old retail outlet recently filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy.

As part of filing chapter 11 the company is undergoing restructuring which includes closing low traffic locations. Those locations include:

Four locations in Missouri, two in the St. Louis area and two in the Kansas City area.

Two locations in Arkansas, one in Jonesboro and one in Cabot.

Two locations in Oklahoma, one in in Oklahoma City and one in Bartlesville.

This is the second time Tuesday Morning has filed for bankruptcy in just three years. Back in 2020 the company closed more than 200 of their, at the time, 700 locations. In 2020 the company cited the COVID-19 pandemic as being the primary reason for their financial troubles. But recently CEO Andrew Berger said the company still possess a considerable amount of debt. The company is now working to optimize its store footprint.
