Farm road accident takes life of motorist from Aurora

A traffic accident at 3:50 Saturday afternoon in Lawrence County took the life of a motorist from Aurora.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol tells NewsTalk KZRG the wreck happened on a Farm Road a few miles east of Aurora when a westbound 2007 Chrysler 300 sedan operated by 57-year-old Paul W. Sheridan of Aurora ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a gate and the corner post of a fence.

Sheridan was pronounced dead at the scene just before 4:30 p.m.

It was the 10th fatality accident so far this year for Highway Patrol Troop D in southwest Missouri.
