Unknown person from unknown place starts unoccupied buggy; Rogersville resident injured

It happened around 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon on Johns Ford Road 3 miles north of Sparta in Christian County in southwest Missouri

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report it involved:

An unknown person . . .
of an unknown sex . . .
from an unknown place . . .
with unknown insurance coverage . . .
who started an unoccupied dune buggy . . .
made in an unknown year.

The buggy was started in gear.

That caused it to hit 68-year old Floyd E. Smith of Rogersville. He suffered minor injuries and was taken to a Springfield hospital.

If you're wondering if the person who started the dune buggy had any insurance coverage:

That also remains (you guessed it) unknown.
