Mexican national indicted by federal grand jury on drug charges

A Mexican national has been indicted as part of Federal Grand Jury indictments returned in December in the Northern District of Oklahoma.

United States Attorney Clint Johnson said 43-year-old Douglas Reyes is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute; Carrying a Firearm During and in Relation to a Drug Trafficking Crime; Interstate Travel to Aid Racketeering.

Reyes, a Mexican national, is charged with possessing with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine.

He is further charged with carrying a firearm during his drug trafficking crime.

Finally, he is charged with traveling from Missouri to Oklahoma with the intent to distribute the drug.

The Drug Enforcement Administration and Oklahoma Highway Patrol are the investigative agencies. Assistant U.S. Attorney Ben Tonkin is prosecuting the case.
