Two under arrest in Pittsburg, following residential burglary

Two people were taken into custody in Pittsburg after an alleged residential burglary.
It happened Thursday morning, a little after 4 a.m. Pittsburg Police were dispatched to a residence in the 1700 block of South Walnut Street for a burglary in progress.
The reporting party said two subjects were stealing tires from his carport. The person who made the report had surveillance cameras and was able to show officers the video footage of the crime as it had just occurred as well as an incident from the previous night.
At approximately 4:24 a.m., an officer spotted a 2000 Buick Regal occupied by two females near the area. The females were identified as 43-year- old Carrie Kay Devore, of Pittsburg, and 41-year-old Kandice Jean Devore, of Pittsburg.
The vehicle appeared to be the same vehicle observed in the video surveillance footage of the theft from December 28, 2022. In the video footage observed from the incident which had just occurred, it was determined the clothing worn by the suspects seen stealing tires from inside the carport, matched the clothing worn by Carrie and Kandice Devore.
The two were placed under arrest, without incident, and transported to the Crawford County Jail. They were both booked in on one count of burglary of a non–dwelling and misdemeanor theft. Both are being held without bond at this time.
The tires stolen from the victim were located on a nearby property and returned to the owner.
