Annual tax bills on vehicles have climbed. MO Legislature could try to ease that burden.

Missouri drivers are paying a much higher property tax bill on their vehicles this year and the state Legislature might do something about it. 

State Senator Caleb Rowden, of Columbia, says the values have taken significant jumps.

A shortage of new vehicles has reportedly led to higher bills.

The Legislature’s next session begins January 4.
