Affordable Care Act deadlines are approaching, and Freeman can help

Joplin, Mo – Freeman Eligibility Partners are ready to assist area residents in selecting an Affordable Care Act (ACA) Marketplace plan that best fits their individual needs, so no one has to be left without essential healthcare coverage in 2023.

Two very important open enrollment dates will soon be closing, however. First, open enrollment for coverage that begins January 1, 2023, ends this Thursday, December 15. Later, open enrollment for coverage beginning February 1, 2023, ends on January 15, 2023.

“January 15 is the last date to complete an application under the open enrollment period for 2023,” says Lisa Apfelbaum, Freeman Director of Patient Financial Services.

Failing to act prior to the January 15 cut-off date means individuals cannot receive healthcare coverage unless they qualify for a special enrollment period later in the year.
