Accident in McDonald County kills one, injures two

An accident on Route E, 7 miles northeast Of Bella Vista, in McDonald County, Missour just before 3 p.m. Sunday has taken the life of a man from Arkansas.

The Highway Patrol says the accident happened when a northbound car driven by 77-year-old Carolyn S. Hayes of Springdale crossed the center line and struck a southbound car driven by 57-year-old Michelle McKeever, also of Seligman.

A passenger in McKeever's car, 56-year-old Thomas E. McKeever of Seligman, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Michelle McKeever had serious injuries and Hayes minor injuries. They were transported to hospitals in northwest Arkansas for treatment.
