Pittsburg Police arrest man in connection with shooting incident

PITTSBURG, Kan. – Pittsburg, Kansas Police have arrested a man in connection with the shooting of a 32-year-old man Thursday night in the 100 block of W. 23rd Street in that city. 

At approximately 2:40 a.m. this morning, officers with the Pittsburg Police Department located the suspect, 47-yearold Spencer W. Presley, of Pittsburg, and brought him in for interviewing.

Presley admitted to involvement in the shooting incident and was subsequently placed under arrest for Aggravated Battery and Criminal Possession of a Weapon, both felonies.

Presley was transported to the jail at the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office for booking. A judicial bond amount is still pending.
