Jay Leno suffers serious medical emergency

Entertainment site TMZ reports that talk show host Jay Leno has suffered a serious medical emergency.

Leno was reportedly taken to a burn center after suffering serious burns to the left side of his face.

First reports say the burns resulted from an explosion of a vehicle.

He reportedly was admitted to a hospital and is being treated in a burn ward.

Fox News reports that the 72-year-old Leno is in stable condition and good spirits.
