Parade-goers turn out for 2022 Veterans Day Parade

For the 35th consecutive year, the Joplin Community hosted their annual Veterans Day parade in downtown Joplin this morning.

The route began at 15th street and main  progressed forward, eventually ending at the Joplin City Hall parking lot.

Despite cold temperatures (in the 20s at parade time), the sun was shining.

Onlookers turned out to see a stream of floats, bands and other participants celebrating the contributions of Veterans to America's liberty and freedom.
