Woman injured when truck hits animals on highway

In farm country, animals pose a particular danger if they slip through fences and get onto highways.

Near West Plains, Missouri a truck hit several cows and a goat that had strayed onto Highway E.

It happened Thursday evening near the community of South Fork.in Howell county.

The woman is listed in serious condition in a West Plains hospital.
