The Joplin City Council meets Monday night.
There are a number of items on the agenda.
One is a proposed exception to current ordinances that would allow people under 21 to be in an axe-throwing club even though the club is licensed to sell liquor and beer to adults.
The Council also will consider an ordinance to approve the placement of Park Rangers in City Parks and would vote on the salary and compensation plan for the Rangers.
At the end of the regular meeting, members will vote to go into a closed session.
The open meeting starts at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall at 602 S. Main.
