Ford Escape hits two trees near Anderson; One woman injured

Two women from Anderson were involved in an accident on Route NN, about a quarter-mile east of Anderson Saturday evening.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol report says a westbound 2003 Ford Escape driven by 36-year-old Ashley Hoyer went off the road and hit two trees.

Hoyer was not hurt.

An occupant, 63-year-old Teresa N. Chadwell, was seriously injured.

She was transported by EMS to Freeman West in Joplin.
