Missouri Absentee voting starts today

Starting today (Tuesday), Missouri voters can cast their ballots before election day without providing an excuse.

In the past, you would have to give a reason to an election official before you cast your ballot.

The catch, if you are voting by absentee ballot, you must go to your county clerk's office.

If voting by mail, you still must provide an excuse.

One other change this year, you must provide a valid photo ID to vote.
