A Joplin mother left her three month old unattended for more than 6 hours

On October 20, 2022, the Joplin Police Department was contacted by Webb City Police in reference to a child neglect case.

Joplin Police Officers and Detectives began working with Webb City Police during the investigation. During the investigation it was determined the suspect left her four-year-old child and three month old child unattended at her residence in south Joplin for a minimum of six hours. The suspect is identified as Willow Maire Graves, 34 years of age of Joplin, MO.

Charges have been submitted for 1st Endangering the Welfare of a Child to the Jasper County Prosecutor’s Office. Both children were uninjured.
