MSSU names this year's Home Coming Royalty

Joplin, MO – Winners of the 2022 Homecoming royalty court at Missouri Southern State University were announced this weekend.

Ryunosuke Fukuda and Ropa Nyakutyawere crowned Homecoming King and Queen at halftime during the annual Homecoming football game.

Nyakutya, a senior Biochemistry major from Zimbabwe, was sponsored by International Club. She is a member of International Club, MOSO Dance Club, Campus Activities Board, the Black Student Alliance, Women in Science, and Caduceus Club.

Along with the Queen and King, 12 girls and 11 guys were named as part of the Queen Court and King Court
