Homicide in Monett

Homicide investigation in Monett.   

Police called to the 400 block of Second Street in Monett early Monday afternoon finding a male with reports of multiple gunshot wounds.   

In a news release, Monett Police Chief George Daoud says the victim was identified as 50 year old Robert Creekmore of Monett.  

A family member, 27-year-old Michael Creekmore, was arrested and a handgun was seized.
