DUI patrols in Southeast Kansas, Northeast Oklahoma

A sobriety checkpoint will be set up this weekend at the intersection of K-66 and Schermerhorn Road in Galena this weekend.

The effort is being conducted. Kansas Highway Patrol, Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, and the Galena Police

In Oklahoma, the Highway Patrol ENDUI team will partner with the Pryor Police Department and Mayes County Sheriff's Office to conduct a saturation in Mayes County this weekend through the entirety of Sunday Sept. 4.

In 2020, a total of 396 people were killed in drug and/or alcohol-related crashes in Oklahoma.

Drivers are advised to have fun and enjoy life but never while impaired by alcohol or any other substance.
