Four teens injured in Thursday evening accident near Aurora

A traffic accident in Barry County around 6:45 Thursday evening has resulted in serious injuries to four teenage boys.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened on a Farm Road about four miles south of Aurora when the northbound vehicle in which the boys, all juveniles, were riding veered off the roadway and hit a tree.

Three of the boys, including the driver, were 16. One was 15.

None was wearing a safety device.

The teens were transported by Emergency Medical Services to hospitals in Monett and Aurora.

All four were listed in serious condition.
